Sunshine and rain

Year 6 got their first look at the SATs reading and GPS papers. They had a go in class (at the 2016 papers) and should be really proud at the effort they put in. In Maths, they looked at solving problems involving multiplication including multiplying 4-digit numbers by 2-digit numbers.

Unfortunately, our RE visitor was unable to return but the children showed the had gained a lot from the first visit by recalling Jewish mitzvot and exploring their impact on everyday life.

The highlight of the week for many was our Science where the class applied what they had been learning about classification to investigate what trees are in and around our school grounds.
